After the mass shooting at the Capital Gazette, police chief Timothy Altomare refused to say the name of the shooter who took 5 lives. Red Eye Productions says, “As filmmakers, we have the ability to take ideas such as that and tell fictional stories that explore them further. Last month we shot a short film that explores the idea of keeping mass shooters nameless forever, potentially halting future tragedies from occurring because they have no hope of notoriety.
